3. Terms of Sale (CGV)

3.1 Product

Scrybapp is a macOS desktop application for local AI-powered speech-to-text and voice translation. The product is sold as a lifetime license granting the purchaser perpetual access to the application and all future updates.

3.2 Price

The current price is displayed on the website at the time of purchase. All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes. The publisher reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but the price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time of purchase.

3.3 Payment

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Accepted methods include credit card, debit card, and other methods supported by Stripe. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.

3.4 Delivery

Upon successful payment, the license key is delivered immediately via email. The application can be downloaded from the website. Delivery is considered complete when the license key email is sent to the email address provided during checkout.

3.5 License Terms

  • Each license key allows activation on up to 3 devices (Macs).
  • The license is non-transferable and tied to the purchaser's email address.
  • The license includes all future updates at no additional cost.
  • The license does not expire.

3.6 Right of Withdrawal (Refund Policy)

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered immediately upon purchase when the consumer has expressly consented to begin delivery and acknowledged that doing so waives their right of withdrawal.

However, as a gesture of goodwill, we offer a 14-day refund policy. If you are not satisfied with Scrybapp, contact us at matt@scrybapp.com within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund.

3.7 Free Trial

A free trial of 3 minutes of cumulative voice recording is included with the application. No credit card or account is required to use the trial. The trial provides full access to all features.

4. Terms of Use (CGU)

4.1 Acceptance

By using the Scrybapp website or application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

4.2 Intellectual Property

The Scrybapp name, logo, website design, and application are the exclusive property of Marchione Matthias. All rights are reserved. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without prior written consent is prohibited.

4.3 User Responsibilities

  • Users must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or distribute the application.
  • Users must not share their license key publicly.
  • Users are responsible for their use of the application and its output.

4.4 Limitation of Liability

Scrybapp is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. The publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the application.

4.5 Data Processing

Scrybapp processes all voice data locally on the user's device. No audio data is transmitted to external servers. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Applicable Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of Scrybapp or the interpretation of these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in France.

In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, consumers may refer to the consumer mediation service in case of a dispute.
